Randstad, a recruitment agency and HR solutions company, announced the internal promotion of Fahad Naeem from head of Operations to country director at Randstad Malaysia.
Naeem said that he is both honoured and excited to take on this new role at Randstad Malaysia.
“Over the years, I’ve worked closely with the management team to enhance and deepen our specialised recruitment services for professionals, managers, executives and technicians across key industries like technology, manufacturing, sales and marketing, construction and more.
“Over the past two years, we have doubled our team of specialised recruiters from 30 to 60. We also now have the largest specialised technology team covering both software development and enterprise talent recruitment in Malaysia,” claimed Naeem.
He said in the coming years, Randstad will be expanding its workforce solutions to include end-to-end talent contracting services and looks forward to building a bigger client and talent network and leveraging its world-class HR technology to continue delivering an exceptional experience for Malaysia’s businesses and workforce.
According to Randstad, Naeem first joined the company back in 2012 in its early days in Malaysia. He later returned in 2018 as a strategic and ambitious move to grow and deepen our technology recruitment capabilities.
Naeem was then promoted to associate director of technology in January 2020 to expand its service streams to include banking and financial technology recruitment solutions, it said.
In his new remit, Naeem will continue to report to Jaya Dass, managing director of Randstad Singapore and Malaysia, it said.
“It is always the company’s top priority to be able to identify and nurture high-performing employees. Naeem has proven himself to be a very supportive and forward-thinking leader who has earned the trust of our employees, clients and talent in Malaysia,” said Jaya Dass, managing director at Randstad Singapore and Malaysia.
