SAS names Andy Zook as VP for Asean

SAS names Andy Zook as VP for Asean

 

GLOBAL analytics leader SAS has appointed Andy Zook (pic) as vice president of its Asean team, as of June 1, 2017. Building on more than two decades of sales experience in the technology industry, Zook will now lead regional sales and field operations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines, as well as emerging countries in the region.

Based in Singapore, Andy will report to Marcio Dobal, senior regional vice president, Asia Pacific.

“We are delighted to announce Andy’s new appointment as vice president for the Asean region, with his impressive track record of spearheading SAS projects on a global scale,” said Dobal.

“Andy’s great leadership and his strong network of relationships and resources will be key to helping SAS capitalise on the wealth of opportunities here. We are confident that Andy will be an excellent leader to grow SAS’ reputation as a market leader in world-class analytics solutions and services, especially in this part of the world.”

With more than 20 years of sales support experience in the technology industry – including 14 years at SAS with the Health and Life Sciences business unit, Andy is a seasoned industry veteran.

His previous scope of work within SAS, includes senior sales director in Global Sales and Field Operations, which gives him a deep understanding of how to succeed in today’s global market. His experience with global accounts provides him with a strong SAS network in both Asia Pacific and at corporate headquarters, which enables him to be a strong voice for the region.
