Telenor Digital powers Indosat Ooredoo's customer channels on Facebook

INDONESIA’s Indosat Ooredoo has announced a strategic partnership with Telenor Digital to leverage on the latter’s global platform, Millom, to launch new digital solutions to improve customer experiences.
The partnership, which is experienced at the global level, will support the acceleration of Indonesia's transformation into a digital nation, Indosat Ooredoo said in a statement.
With the Millom platform, Indosat Ooredoo is able to engage with its customers directly on the digital platform, thus allowing for a more personalised customer experience, Indosat said.
It will also allow the company to provide innovative offerings in user-friendly ways and a smooth integration between its digital ecosystem with mobile apps, such as Facebook, it added.
The partnership also sees Indosat Ooredoo and Telenor Digital launching the Facebook Mobile Center, a customer engagement channel within the Facebook app that mobile operators can use to deliver seamless, in-app sales and service experiences.
This allows Indosat Ooredoo’s customers to easily purchase data packs without needing to leave the Facebook app. Customers can also access customer service experiences, such as chatting with Indosat Ooredoo customer support via WhatsApp, said Indosat.
Ritesh Kumar Singh, chief commercial officer of Indosat Ooredoo, said, “We are proud that Indosat Ooredoo has launched our Mobile Center in Indonesia in the Facebook App, and it is powered by our understanding of what our customers’ need. Customers can now buy data bundles and get airtime and data bundle advance by interacting with the ‘Mobile Center - Indosat Ooredoo’.”
