- Connecting them with customers via online in the New Normal period
Telekom Malaysia Bhd’s broadband business, unifi, continues to enable consumers and businesses to stay connected by introducing an integrated online platform that connects people to content and services, offered by local businesses.
Accessible at www.unifi.com.my/ramadanraya, the platform allows the ease of searching, making online purchases and match making between consumers and local businesses in one single platform.
Unifi points out that the new platform offers a combination of live streaming and video content in addition to business listings that can help people overcome challenges posed by the restricted movement that was extended to 9 June.
Unifi has gathered live content with the Ramadan-Raya theme from popular online creators and house business listings to allow consumers to complete their Ramadan-Raya preparations via a one stop portal. Both components are compiled into easy-to-find categories to provide user friendly navigation and make the content match-making process much smoother for users.
Anand Vijayan, Chief Commercial Officer at TM, explains, “By using the tools available online, we have demonstrated that people can regain a semblance of normal life even with restricted movement. We hope that the new unifi platform could achieve the same thing by connecting people to online experiences that also allows them to celebrate Ramadan-Raya as it would have been before social distancing.”
Anand is hopeful that the combination of live content and business listings can help people to #stayhome, #stayproductive and #staystrong, fulfilling their needs and supporting both people and businesses transition to this new normal.
The new platform kick-started an avenue for unifi business customers to list their products and services while encouraging all SMEs and businesses to also come on board to list their products and services. The goal is to support local community businesses and recreate retail experiences to reach more customers.
Raising hype to the e-bazaar, unifi Ramadan-Raya also features live sessions that touch on many topics such as spirituality, culture, commerce, and lifestyle, including performing ibadah and dakwah at home with local song producers, Hafiz Hamidun and Mawi; staying fit and healthy with Yasmin Hani and Saharul Ridzwan; and how to make Hari Raya preparations with Yaya Zahir and Ummi Nazeera, just to name a few.
As Malaysian’s continue to adapt to a new normal and stay homebound, unifi announced that it is extending all of its ongoing stay-at-home connectivity offerings until 9 June 2020. The broadband service emphasises that it remains committed to help Malaysians stay home and safe, and to deliver smooth continuity of services for Malaysians nationwide.
