Hua-An to acquire data analytics companies Human Capient, MD Labs for US$6.2milInvestment holding company SINO Hua-An International Bhd has recently signed a Sales and Purchase Agreement to acquire two business intelligence and data analytics providers for a sum of US$6.187 million (RM27 million).

The companies are Human Capient Consulting Sdn Bhd and MD Labs Sdn Bhd, whose CEO is Abdullah Abbas Wan Mohd Hasni (pic, left), which have each established a strong track record and clientele over the years. Both companies are certified by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia to supply services and products, with a prominent clientele comprising Government-linked companies, multinational corporations, as well as government departments.

Both have also collectively been able to deploy digital solutions to business and organisations with a focus on Industry 4.0 as well as an emphasis on scalable deployment of technologies driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Data Analytics.

Upon the completion of the acquisition, Hua-An will own 70% of Human Capient and 100% of MD Labs.

According to the press release, the purchase will allow Hua-An to further strengthen their position as Malaysia’s leading digital enabler following the completion of its acquisition of the Touchpoint Group. It will also lead Hua-An to develop new streams of income apart from its traditional manufacturing and sale of metallurgical coke.

Human Capient, whose CEO is Mohammad Khuzaini Ismail (pic, left), CEO of Human Capient, is a horizontal solutions provider focusing on change management, manpower improvement, operational efficiency and strategy implementation.

MD Labs offers timely and accurate supply and demand data to the public and private sector in Malaysia. The acquisition of both companies will provide a total cumulative profit guarantee of US$1.32 million (RM5.8 million) over two years to Hua-An.
