Top management changes in Censof Holdings

- Samsul Husin redesignated company’s non-executive director
- Ameer Shaik Mydin takes on role of MD with immediate effect
CENSOF Holdings Bhd, which specialises in financial and investment management solutions, as well as e-payment gateway services, announced that Samsul Husin will step down as managing director.
Samsul, who will now take on the role of non-executive director, will be replaced by Ameer Shaik Mydin (pic).
Ameer, who graduated from Universiti of Malaya with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, joined the company in 2002 when he was appointed executive director of Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
He was subsequently appointed executive director of Century Software Holdings Bhd, and in 2011 took on the role of chief executive officer of T-Melmax Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Censof Holdings.
Samsul (pic) joined Censof on Dec 28, 2010 as the company’s executive deputy chairman. He was subsequently redesignated group managing director on Sept 26, 2011.
Specialising in financial systems, system planning and designing, Samsul started his career in 1986 with the Housing Division of the State Planning and Development Unit in the state of Selangor, where he gained hands-on experience in the planning and designing of a billing system for low-cost housing development project in the state, according to Censof.
Both Ameer and Samsul have indirect shareholdings of approximately 41.7% in Censof by virtue SAAS Global Sdn Bhd, in which they have a direct stake.
