VIVO unveiled its latest addition to its V series smartphones: the V11. The V11 is the first in Vivo’s line up to incorporate an In-Display Fingerprint Scanning technology that allows the phone enough room to have a large 6.41-inch Super AMOLED FullView display.
The V11 prides itself with a 3D curved body that blends the edges of the phone with the display. Other ways to unlock the phone include a face unlock feature that is enhanced with infrared light that allows the V11 to scan even in low light.
Second to that, Vivo is banking hard on the V11’s photographic capabilities including a 12-Megapixel and 5-Megapixel dual rear camera that features a large f/1.8 aperture to better capture photos in low light.
Much like most phones these days, the V11 has Artificial Intelligence (AI) features with standard features like AI scene recognition. The camera also is said to deliver better High Dynamic Range (HDR) capture and low-light capture. By capturing multiple frames, the V11 combines them to have better-exposed photos.
The front 25-Megapixel selfie camera benefits from Vivo’s AI Face Shaping technology that uses an algorithm that Vivo claims enhances one’s facial features.
Beyond photography, the V11 comes powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM and roomy 128GB of storage. It will run on the latest Funtouch OS 4.5 while Vivo’s Jovi AI engine works to allocate CPU and memory to handle multiple apps.
The V11 will be available in two colours Starry Night, a blend of black and blue and Nebula, that has blue and purple hues.
Vivo said the V11 will be available on Sept 15 at all Vivo concept stores and authorised resellers at US$410 (RM1,699).
