SINGAPORE-based social crowdfunding startup SimplyGiving.com has announced the appointment of Nikki Kinloch (pic) as its new chief executive officer.
She replaces outgoing chief executive Kristofer Rogers who stepped down last April by mutual agreement with stakeholders of the company, SimplyGiving.com said in a statement.
“We realised the need for leadership change given the evolving opportunities in the markets that we currently serve, and thank Kristofer Rogers for his contributions to the company,” said founder and major shareholder James Greaves.
“Kinloch’s appointment is a fantastic opportunity given her impressive and relevant track record. She brings with her over 15 years’ experience in fast-paced technology organisations and a wealth of knowledge in leading and growing performance-driven businesses throughout the Asia Pacific region,” he added.
Kinloch’s familiarity with the Asian market makes her a cultural fit for the organisation, Greaves added.
London-born Kinloch, who has a MSc. in International Business Economics, has worked in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Hong Kong. She will be based at SimplyGiving’s head office in Singapore.
