aCommerce Indonesia welcomes new COO & CCO

ACOMMERCE Indonesia, an end-to-end solutions provider for ecommerce in Southeast Asia, has appointed two leaders to fill vacant positions at the management level.

These key appointments are Mustafa Kamal Hamka as chief operating officer (COO) and Donny Wardhana as chief commercial officer (CCO).

This leadership combination will strengthen the foundations of aCommerce Indonesia in implementing short and long term strategies to realise its vision of becoming more than an end-to-end ecommerce enabler by being the operating system for commerce in Southeast Asia by 2020.

Mustofa Kamal has more than 15 years of experience in logistics operations & supply chain management. He has worked at companies MAP, Metrox, LION, Lazada, and at etobee as its CEO.

Mustofa Kamal will handle operations, distribution, cross border, and customer service.

"I see a great opportunity for aCommerce to further develop the business and its position in the market, especially with the commitment given by the local and regional management team to be the best player in Southeast Asia. In addition, the potential of e-commerce in Indonesia is quite fantastic. It totalled US$157 billion in 2025. It is an exciting time to be in this industry," said Mustofa Kamal.

His main strategy is to lead a leaner operation by implementing automation and comprehensive optimisation to reduce manual processes as well as improve productivity and cost efficiency, in addition to strengthening the quality of the team with an emphasis on transparency and people development.

Donny brings more than 14 years of experience in sales & business development in the logistics industry from having worked with DHL, TNT, UPS, JNE and at Quantum Solutions Logistics Indonesia as Director. Leading the business development team, Donny will be in the key position to expand aCommerce's business and portfolio.

The opportunity to develop himself is one of his main reasons for joining aCommerce. "Today aCommerce is the leader in the industry, especially in Indonesia, and it's very possible for this company to scale up more quickly considering the country's massive ecommerce potential, which still hasn't developed fully. I want to be a part of this winning team," commented Donny.

With a focus on a pipeline strategy, cross-selling, upselling and people development, Donny is optimistic that aCommerce will grow rapidly in the competitive e-commerce scene, both nationally and regionally.

For now, Donny is setting his sights on the B2B (Business to Business) and B2E (Business to Employee) segments and is shaping Bandung to be the centre of aCommerce's business development after Jakarta.

aCommerce Indonesia CEO Hadi Kuncoro hopes that the new appointments, aCommerce's short term plans will be executed and managed optimally.

"Our next target to empower the industry is to take part in making Harbolnas (Online Shopping Day) a success and preparing the strategy for 2017. From this month to January 2017 we will help launch e-commerce websites for several brands. There will be new products/services from aCommerce in the first quarter of 2017."

aCommerce is a leading e-commerce solutions provider present in Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore, bringing global brands and retailers online.
