Maxis claims solid results with 1.9% revenue growth in competitive environment
Maxis recorded revenue of RM8.967 billion for the financial year ended Dec 31 2012, 1.9% up from the RM8.8 billion in 2011, on the back of higher revenue from all business segments.
Maxis claims first to launch 4G LTE service
Maxis said that its 4G LTE service, delivered on the first “true” 4G network in Malaysia, is now available in selected parts of the Klang Valley including Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Damansara Utama, Desa Sri Hartamas, Bandar Puchong Jaya, Bandar Sunway and Cyberjaya.
Maxis YTD revenue up 1.9%, profits down 9.1%
Maxis announced its financial results for the nine months ended Sept 30, 2012, saying it registered overall growth in all its core business segments, but reported lower profits after tax.
Maxis H1 revenue up 3.6% to RM4.4bil
Maxis said its revenue grew for the first half for the year ended June 30, 2012, was RM4.45 billion (US$1.42 billion), up 3.6% year-on-year from the previous corresponding period’s RM4.291 billion, with non-voice revenue being the prime growth driver.
