Pure Storage appoints new engineering head in APJ

• More than 20 years as senior exec, technical consultant in enterprise technology
• Formerly the global head for presales and CTO for  Hitachi Vantara

Pure Storage has appointed Pratyush Khare as vice president of systems engineering for Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ).

Based in Singapore, Pratyush is responsible for leading Pure Storage’s team of systems engineers across APJ and oversees the deployment of a modern data experience for customers in their digital transformation journeys, the company said in a statement.

Khare has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive and technical consultant in enterprise technology.

Prior to joining Pure, he served as global head of pre-sales at Hitachi Vantara. He also held the position of chief technology officer (CTO) for Asia-Pacific at the company, Pure Storage said.

Before that, Khare has worked with leading cloud, infrastructure, software, and applications companies across the Americas, Asia, the Pacific, and India, it added.

The company said Pratyush has a strong track record of helping customers clearly define the complex technology challenges that they may be facing, before architecting tailored solutions aimed at relieving those pain points.
