Oracle unveils Endeca Information Discovery 3.1

• Empowers business users to expedite decision-making
• Comes with enhanced self-service discovery capabilities

ORACLE Corporation has released Oracle Endeca Information Discovery 3.1, which it said would help organisations increase business agility and performance.
 
The latest version of its enterprise class data discovery platform offers business users additional self-service data mash-up and discovery capabilities, extended support for unstructured analytics, and even tighter integration with Oracle Business Intelligence software, the company said in a statement.
 
Oracle Endeca Information Discovery 3.1 is designed with new capabilities to allow business users to use analytics easily, and incorporate the wide variety of information they have access to in decision-making, Oracle claimed.
 
“For business users, data-driven insights are the holy grail of competitive intelligence – difficult or impossible to glean without significant effort, and are often gained through unsecured, vigilante channels,” said Keith Johnson, group vice president of software development at Oracle.
 
“The latest release of Oracle Endeca solves this challenge, allowing business users to securely benefit from simple and powerful data discovery at the speed of business, enabling them to make data-driven decisions with absolute confidence,” he added.
