HYPERX, a division of Kingston Technology, announced that its new Alloy FPS gaming keyboard is now available in Malaysia for a recommended retail price of US$113 (RM500).
Made with first person shooter gamers in mind, the Alloy FPS features Cherry MX Blue Mechanical switches that provide tactile feedback and responsiveness to enable players to play at their best.
Built with a solid steel alloy frame, hence giving its name, it features red LED backlighting and six preset LED modes to help players see the keys when gaming in the dark.
The full-sized mechanical keyboard has a space saving layout that the company claims to allow gamers to maximise their desktop real estate for their rapid mouse movement.
It has a Game Mode that disables the Windows key to prevent game play interruptions and features an easy to access USB charging port on the back to help keep your smart devices charged up.
HyperX said in a press statement, “After extensive research and hundreds of hours of gameplay testing, HyperX developed a mechanical keyboard from the ground up to withstand the most intense gameplay. This keyboard is designed for over 50 million keystrokes per key.”
An avid supporter of the eSports community, HyperX adds that the Alloy FPS has become the official keyboard of the Intel Extreme Masters and it has been used by top gaming teams such as NaVi Gaming, Echo Fox and Hell Raisers.
