SAMSUNG fans in Malaysia will be delighted to know that there is now an all-in-one experience centre called the Galaxy Studio where they can experience the very best of Samsung’s products.

Open for the next three months, visitors will be able to explore and experience the latest Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Note 8, Gear VR with a controller and new Gear 360 at the Galaxy Studio which is prominently located at a busy intersection of Bukit Bintang.

Samsung has previously set up its Galaxy Studio in some of the most iconic places around the world including the Westfield Parramatta in Sydney, Stockholm Central Station, the Dubai Mall and Excelsior Plaza in Hong Kong. To date, it has attracted over 900,000 visitors in each location.

One of the main highlights of the Galaxy Studio is an interactive smart table that comes with a display that connects with the Galaxy Note 8 via WiFi. Samsung had previously used the smart table during the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona to showcase the best features of its flagship smartphone.

Visitors are able to explore the various features of the Note 8 like draw with the S Pen or understand how Samsung’s Artificial Intelligence Bixby works in the home of the future.

Another attraction of the Galaxy Studio is the Liquid Canvas experience that showcases the benefits of the Note 8’s IP68 water and dust resistant protection. Here visitors can take a selfie, decorate it on the Note 8 and fully submerge the handset in a sink filled with water and watch as their selfies “appear” on a screen beneath the water’s surface.

Those who are thrill seekers may want to strap on your Gear VR virtual reality (VR) headset with a controller on the 4D Sway chair and experience an adrenaline-filled space battle in Galactic Attack VR Coaster 4D. At the same time, visitors can step up to try the Gear Fit2 Pro fitness band and play a virtual game of cycling to test their fitness level.

The Galaxy Studio is set to be open from Oct 27, 2017, until Jan 31, 2018, from 10am to 10pm.

According to Samsung, visitors to the experience centre from Oct 27 to 29 will be able to experience using the Galaxy Note 8 and if they purchase a unit during the period, are entitled to a free Gear VR.

Samsung said there will be more activities and promotions lined up at the Galaxy Studio in the coming months.
