Celcom reports 30th consecutive quarter of growth, YTD revenue at RM6b
Celcom Axiata Berhad reported its 30th consecutive quarter of revenue growth, with revenue in the third quarter from July to September 2013 coming in at RM2.02 billion, a marginal improvement over last quarter’s RM2.01 billion.
Telekom revenue up 9.9%, operating profit up 64.7% in Q3 2013
Telekom Malaysia Berhad has announced a 9.9% Year-on-Year (YoY) growth in group revenue to RM2.6 billion for the third quarter ended Sept 30 2013, from RM2.4 billion in the same quarter last year on the back of higher revenue contribution from Internet and data services.
Maxis YTD revenue up 3%
Maxis Berhad said revenue grew 3% in the first nine months ended Sept 30 this year compared with the same period in 2012, to RM6.86 billion on the back of contributions from all business segments, but largely driven by higher mobile Internet and data usage which recorded an increase of 14.6%.
DiGi completes network modernisation, reports Q3 revenue up 7.4%
DiGi said it has completed its network modernisation exercise and reported third quarter revenue was up 7.4% to RM1.7 billion compared with the same quarter in 2012.
In Q2, Celcom surpasses RM2-bil revenue mark for first time
Celcom Axiata Berhad saw quarterly revenue for April to June 2013 hit RM2.01 billion, the first time in the company’s history it passed the quarterly RM2-billion mark, bringing the total to RM3.99 billion for the year to date (YTD), which represented a year-on-year improvement of 4.3%.
TM’s first-half 2013 revenues up 4.8%, driven by UniFi
Telekom Malaysia said revenue for the first half ended June 30, 2013 rose 4.8% to RM5 billion from the RM4.8 billion recorded in the corresponding period last year, driven mainly by data, Internet and multimedia services, particularly its UniFi high-speed broadband offering.
ECS Holdings’ Q2 net profit up 11%
Singapore Exchange Mainboard-listed ECS Holdings Limited has reported that net profit after tax for the second quarter ended June 30 rose 11% from the corresponding period in the previous year to S$9 million, on the back of 23.5% revenue growth to S$1.02 billion.
Maxis Q2 profits up 11.3%, revenue dips
Maxis reported net profit was up 11.3% to RM530 million for the second quarter which ended June 30, attributing this to the strength of its non-voice business, particularly mobile Internet, and cost management.
DiGi Q2 revenue up 3.4%, fuelled by mobile Net growth
DiGi recorded second quarter revenue of RM1.653 billion, up 3.4% from RM1.526 billion in the previous quarter, driven mainly by mobile Internet revenue which grew 10.6% quarter-on-quarter, from a larger base of 6.8 million subscribers.
Bosch reports strong growth, has big plans for Malaysia
Bosch, a leading global supplier of technology and services, had sales of €132 million in Malaysia, up 8% from the €122 million the previous year.
