Celcom, partners showcase technologies, ecosystem of solutions

• Aims to accelerate digital adoption amongst businesses
• Collaborates with 39 tech partners, 24 of which are local firms

Celcom Axiata Bhd (Celcom) is extending its digital reach to meet the demand across Malaysian organisations by bringing world class technology innovation and services through its ecosystem of solutions, further supporting the nation’s digital economy aspirations.

In a statement, the telco said, from Aug 18 to Aug 26, it is hosting the Celcom Business Tech Week at its headquarters, @celcom in Petaling Jaya. 

The event will open doors to business owners, enterprises, and public sector officials to experience and familiarise with potential digital solutions for their organisations, Celcom said.

The event aims to support and accelerate digital adoption amongst local businesses in optimising their daily operations efficiency, productivity and ensuring business sustainability, it added.

This includes introducing relevant solutions to assist businesses in connecting people from around the world with mobile solutions, connecting places with fixed solutions, connecting machines with Internet of Things (IoT) solutions providing real-time insights, managing data with cloud solutions, and protecting data with cyber security solutions, Celcom noted.

Visitors to the Celcom Business Tech Week @celcom will have the opportunity to experience solutions from over 15 real-world showcases by 10 different partners, Celcom said.

Also on display during the event is an IoT showcase, which will demonstrate smart city solutions that enhance safety and security for better living; smart manufacturing and agriculture solutions that improve productivity and efficiency; and smart retail solutions that improve customer experience with real time insights, it said.

Visitors will also get to experience the Metaverse virtual reality demonstrations, it added.

To ensure that other business communities aren’t left out, Celcom said the event will be extended to other selected locations outside the Klang Valley throughout 2022 to showcase various digital solutions that can help innovate and digitalise enterprises across industries.
