NYSE-listed Intralinks Holdings Inc, which provides content management and collaboration solutions in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, has announced the appointment of Allan Robertson (pic above) as senior vice president of sales for Asia Pacific.
Based in Singapore, Robertson takes the reins from Javier Colado, who served as Asia Pacific sales lead since 2014 and who will now lead Intralinks’ Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) sales team, the company said in a statement.
Both moves are effective immediately and will see Robertson and Colado report to Intralinks executive vice president of global sales Leif O’Leary.
Formerly Intralinks’ chief of staff, Robertson will now be responsible for driving sales growth in markets including Singapore, China, Hong Kong, India, Australia, South Korea and Japan, the company said.
“Allan’s [Robertson] knowledge of Intralinks – our vision, our operations and our people – is unique, and will position him well for success in his new role,” said O’Leary.
“Intralinks is already experiencing strong growth across the Asia Pacific region, and with Allan’s guidance I am confident we can accelerate our success,” he added.
Robertson began his career at Intralinks in 2010 as a vice president in EMEA, responsible for growing Intralinks’ strategic transactions business.
“This is an exciting time for this region; the market is coming to us,” he said.
“Compliance demands are hitting our customers as businesses migrate to the cloud to accommodate huge information sharing demands. With our heritage in the M&A (merger and acquisition) world, we are in a prime position to continue to expand across Asia Pacific,” he added.
