Fujitsu rolls out laptop leasing programme for businesses

  • Programme in partnership with Orix Rentex, which has 40yrs experience in ICT leasing business
  • Interest rate of 0.5% per annum; clients can refresh or buy back after programme’s 3yr duration

Fujitsu rolls out laptop leasing programme for businessesFUJITSU has launched a laptop leasing programme in Malaysia in partnership with leasing services provider Orix Rentec (M) Sdn Bhd, saying it would provide flexible options for businesses to keep their IT infrastructure up to date.
 
Business owners of all sizes can now equip their offices with Fujitsu Lifebook laptops from RM70.20 per month, the company said in a statement. The Lifebook models included in the leasing programme are the AH544, E733, E743 and U772.
 
“The Fujitsu leasing programme is targeted at the corporate and SME (small and medium enterprise) side of our business,” Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd country manager Yap Hui Hui (pic).
 
“We are expecting a 30% growth % in our corporate business through this initiative,” she said, adding that Orix Rentec has had 40 years’ experience in leasing services.
 
The duration of the leasing programme is for three years with an interest rate of 0.5% charged per annum. By the end of the leasing contract, clients will be able to choose from two options – to refresh the equipment leased or to buy back the leased equipment at “fair market value,” the company said.
 
Fujitsu also introduced a range of new Lifebooks for 2014, including the AH544, E-Series, UH544 and S904.
