Coolpad arrives with two new phones
 

CHINA-based company Coolpad unveiled its two new devices, Coolpad Max and Max Lite  in Indonesia. The global launch of these two products is a major step for Coolpad in 2016.
 
After Indonesia, Coolpad will expand the availability of its products to India, Vietnam and Europe within two months. Coolpad Max has a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with a 2.5D curved edge glass display. It supports dual SIMs  and is powered by a 1.5GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 (MSM8952) processor. It also has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM and support for quick charging technology.
 
The body is made with an alloy of Cobalt, Titanium and Aluminium. It also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, five megapixel front camera, 2,800mAh battery and uses Android 5.1.
 
Pre-orders will be available from Blibli.com starting from June 10th with a price of Rp4,999,000 (US$381.6).
 
Coolpad also launched the Max Lite with a similar design, but lower specs and price. The main difference is the slower processor which is a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8929), 3GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The Max Lite will be officially available from May 16th for Rp2,999,000 (US$228.9).
 
Coolpad group CEO, Douglas Li said, “Last year, our main focus was on offline activities, while for this year our main target is selling 1 million smartphone units only in Indonesia through online channels.”
