Samsung launches new tablet

SAMSUNG Malaysia Electronics has unveiled a new addition to its range of tablets. The new 7-inch Galaxy Tab A 2016 is equipped with a faster 1.5GHz quad core processor, larger expandable storage, higher resolution camera and a sharper screen display.
 
“At Samsung, we make conscious efforts in innovation to help users enhance their day-to-day lives and with that, we are thrilled to introduce a new edition of our Galaxy Tab A series to Malaysian fans. The Galaxy Tab A 2016 is specially designed to meet the urban consumer’s need for productivity and performance packed in a sleek 7-inch tablet,” said Lee Jui Siang, Vice President of Mobile and IT Business Unit, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.
 
The Galaxy Tab A 2016 has a 7-inch display and a thickness of 8.7mm. Weighing 289g, the tablet can support an expandable storage of up to 200GB. The company claims it has a longer-lasting 4000mAh battery that can support up to 11 hours of web-browsing activities and 10 continuous hours of movie watching.
 
The Galaxy Tab A has a Kids Mode which has several free and native applications for the younger audience. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 is available now at Samsung Experience Stores nationwide. Available in Silver, White and Black, the Galaxy Tab A 2016 retails for RM799 (inclusive of 6% GST).
